Suzy Ahn [[email protected]] is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics and co-director of the Sound Patterns Laboratory at the University of Ottawa, Canada. With her expertise in articulatory and acoustic phonetics, her primary methodology involves ultrasound tongue imaging (UTI) and laryngeal ultrasound, which she has applied to analyze sounds across a range of languages, including French, English, Javanese, Portuguese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, German, Hindi, and Thai.
